Nude & Gold

Nude&Gold

It seems like every time I visit Polyvore , I'm faced with lusting over so many beautiful pieces that a girl could only dream for. Not knocking the site but Man oh Man! would I like to get my hands on the Herve Leger Square Dress with the grand price tag of $2,800.That sure is alot of MOOLA! Oh well a girl can dream, right?

Anyway above are some of the items that I was drawn to. In my opinion you can never go wrong with nude and gold. I can just imagine the way these two colors will complement the hues of fall. Between the yellow and orange foilage and the pretty red leaves from poisenttia plants I'm sure my house will be filled with, I can already imagine a very fall-esque color scheme!

Fashion's Night Out LA.

Yesterday was one of LA's biggest fashion events and if your not familiar with Fashion's Night Out then you've truly missed out. Stemming from the kick off of NYFW, Fashion's night out gives citys from many different locations around the country the opportunity to celebrate their love for fashion. I started my night off by heading to the Beverly Center where one could enjoy fashion shows ,celebrity guest appearances, and seeing the many people who are deeply influenced by the fashion world. Feeling so in my element was never so prevalent! Although this night is really big for shopping and for catching special deals I only acquired one clothing item which was a t-shirt I purchased from Bloomingdale's with the FNO logo on the front. The next stop on my journey through the city was a drive on the streets with some of the staple stores of LA/Hollywood. Among those stores were Fred Segal, Alexander McQueen, Herve Ledger, & Marc Jacobs (which I have to say had the cutest set up and even featured a live car inside!). I didn't quite have the time or the patience to park and drive to every store that caught my eye, but a quick look while passing had to be adequate. All through town were an abundance of events and after party's but I decided to end off my night by going to Rodeo drive to enjoy a toned down version of a carnival starring a Ferris Wheel and Cirque Du soleil performers.
& btw be sure to check out an interview I did for Black Fashion here.
